FMColor is perfect for FileMaker databases and web sites
I was always afraid to try new color schemes on my websites and my FileMaker solutions because I honestly did not know which colors blended correctly. It’s different when you are building databases or websites that only you will see, but for public solutions I always focused on the same “safe” color selections afraid to venture out. As a result, all of my solutions for my clients began to look the same. That is why I developed FMColor.

A quick look at the features of FMColor
When you first open FMColor, the first thing that catches your eye is hundreds of colored squares. Mouse over the square and you will see the Hexadecimal value of that square.

Click on any of the squares. The bottom of the screen will fill with 6 colors that coordinate with the color you chose. The Hexadecimal value of each color will appear above the row of 6 colors, and their RGB value will display underneath.

To the right, you will notice a combination of the colors, giving you an idea as to how they would look on the web or as a database solution. Since FileMaker works with RGB colors and the web works with Hex values, we have also included an RGB to Hexadecimal conversion calculator. This will enable you to use the same colors for both your databases and websites.

FMColor is a locked runtime solution. This is a full functioning solution, however you will not be able to see any of the inner workings of the solution.
